According to section 145 of the Dangerous Goods (Control) Regulations, Cap. 295G, the Laws of Hong Kong, compressed gas containers are to be inspected or tested by an authorized person of the Fire Services Department in accordance with specified duration. The HKUME has a qualified fire engineering team and can handle the inspection and issuance of certificates for compressed gas cylinders/hydraulic tests as required by law. Other professional services include: hydraulic testing of compressed gas cylinders, cylinder acceptance testing, cylinder rust removal, oil coloring and cylinder switch replacement, as well as professional advice on the management of dangerous goods storage and cylinder storage.
